Yesterday I was in my usual Saturday morning groove of housecleaning. As I clean I always listen to my favorite Bible teachers on my ipod. One of the things I have been listening to is a Worldview series Jack Hibbs has been teaching on Wednesday nights. I clicked on the most recent session to listen to it, but when I did I realized it was not the next part of the Worldview series, instead he had guest speakers. I almost clicked to the next podcast, but I decided to listen for a few minutes to see if it might be something interesting. I don't think I made it five minutes before I was CRYING!!! So, I spent the next hour dusting, vacuuming, mopping, crying, and praising Jesus.
I hope you will take the time to watch this. It will bless your socks off!!! The testimony of this family is incredible! This is one of the most humbling and awesome demonstrations of unconditional LOVE for Jesus I have ever seen. This is faith lived out LOUD!!
We are studying the book of James right now, and I could not think of a better example of the first chapter of James than this story. You will also never be able to think of Psalm 119:11 the same again...Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee.
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. And let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4
