In Genesis 3:15 God declares, "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise Him on the heel."
How precious it is that the planned virgin birth of Jesus was announced at the very beginning....in the Garden!!! How incredible it is that God did not leave man without hope and the promise of the Overcomer. He did not leave us wondering what would happen after sin entered the world. He did not announce, "Game over!! Scrap the humans!" Even before He took Adam and Eve to task He made a promise to beat all promises!!! He promised to send His son Jesus to die for us. Satan may have "bruised" Jesus heel with the crucifixion, but that was part of God's plan. The Seed, Jesus, would have the VICTORY and all who would believe in Him will be rescued from the penalty of sin and death. Thank you, Father, for your Son. Thank you for loving us THAT much.
"For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believes in Him SHOULD NOT PERISH, but have EVERLASTING LIFE." John 3:16
